A happy little sweets enthusiast ends up getting a taste of snots and tears.
This board is a comic book adaptation to cinematic boards exercise. (manga: Yotsuba&! by Kiyohiko Azum)
For this exercise, I adapted the story to be told in the child's perspective and drew back on my childhood experiences as a hyperactive, stranger shy, and easily startled kid to help inform the main character's emotions and reactions.
